Week 2
We have been introduced to Digital Photography and Imaging. Our initial task was to select three Photoshop artworks from Pinterest and explain why we find these designs appealing. As we progress through the module, we will engage in various digital design projects.

    1.

Description: This graphic design work is full of boundless imagination, as if it transports me to a wondrous fantasy place.

Week 3
Focused on Photoshop basics and introduced us to tools like the Lasso, Object Selection, and Magic Wand. We then applied these skills to create three digital collages for Project 1. Additionally, Mr. Martin demonstrated various techniques for seamlessly incorporating furniture into a room using both manual and easier methods in Photoshop.

Week 4
We  focused on learning various tools and techniques in Photoshop, including the Quick Selection Tool, Layer Mask, Filters, and Color Correction. We also learned how to use gradient and blending tools, applying these methods to provided images. Additionally, we gained an understanding of the fundamentals of digital image processing and applied it to our second project, which involved incorporating a photograph of ourselves into a specific image scene.

Project 1

Part 1 | Digital Collage

After getting acquainted with Photoshop tools, our first assignment was to craft our own digital collages using the images supplied by Mr. Martin. Here are my creations for this project.

Part 2 | Digital Imaging

    1. Me in Hearst Mansion
I have now mastered a range of Photoshop tools, including the Quick Selection Tool, Layer Mask, Filters, Color Correction, and Gaussian Blur.  Through week 4 exercise, I gained valuable experience in seamlessly integrating one image into another. This involved tasks such as color matching, adding shadows and reflections, and applying various effects to enhance realism.

In this task, we were instructed to use our own picture and follow the same steps we used to composite the Shazam photo into the Hearst Mansion. Here, I'll outline the specific steps I took to achieve this.

    2. Recoloring Black & White Images
In this task, we were specifically instructed to choose a black-and-white image from the options provided by Mr. Martin. We then followed the same steps we learned in week 6 for recoloring.
I decided to work on a portrait of Kim Seok-jin, professionally known as Jin. He is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and a member of the popular South Korean boy band BTS.
