INSTRUCTIONS

Week 1 | Individual Game Ideation

Inspiration
My inspirations are games like Diner Dash, which is about serving customers quickly, Tiny Tower, which has the vertical building and elevator theme, and Overcooked, known for its funny and chaotic gameplay.”

Game Concept
In Elevator Rush, your job is simple: take passengers to the correct floors. But if you’re too slow, they get angry and leave. The challenge is keeping up as more and more passengers arrive.

Core Gameplay
You click or tap to pick up passengers, and then choose their floor.
There are different passenger types:
  • Normal, who wait patiently.
  • Impatient, who get angry very quickly.
  • And VIPs, who must be prioritized.
As the game continues, challenges appear like multiple passengers at once, power outages, or even multiple elevators to manage.”

Unique Selling Points
This game is simple and addictive — easy to learn but hard to master. The chaos builds up, which makes it fun and stressful at the same time. It’s relatable, because everyone has experienced waiting for an elevator. And it’s replayable, since players can try to beat their high scores.”

Art Style
The art style is cartoonish and colorful. Characters show exaggerated expressions — angry, happy, panicking. The environments could include an office tower, a hotel, or even a futuristic space station.”

To sum up, Elevator Rush is a small but exciting game that mixes time management with chaos.
In this game, you don’t just ride the elevator — you control the chaos.

Week 2 | Individual Asset Creation

Model idea:
  • A stylized 3D character in a cartoonish “Overcooked”-like style (big head, small body, bright colors).
  • Outfit: Uniform with a small hat or badge (like a bellhop or elevator operator).
  • Expression: Friendly or panicking face for fun appeal.
