REFLECTION
Over the 14 weeks of the Minor Project, I experienced many valuable lessons and personal growth. In the beginning, I helped create user personas using research insights in Miro. Through consultations and feedback, I learned how important it is to make each persona realistic and clearly justified. We even made changes to improve the diversity and accuracy of our personas, such as including an EV/hybrid driver, which helped us match the real target audience.
During the middle part of the project, I focused on preparing survey and interview questions. After testing the questions and getting approval, I realised that while short questions are easy to answer, they don’t always give detailed feedback. I learned how to improve the structure and wording of questions to gain deeper insights from users. Writing a strong problem statement and “How Might We” questions helped us stay focused on solving the right problems.
In the later weeks, I worked on refining the online campaign. I helped improve the visual layout, added branding elements, and made sure the message was clear for EV/hybrid drivers. I also worked on making sure the design was consistent with the rest of the project. Based on feedback, I adjusted the content to make it easier to understand and more effective in communicating our ideas.
Throughout this journey, I learned how to work better with others, how to apply feedback, and how to improve ideas step by step. There were times when things changed quickly or new challenges came up, but I stayed flexible and focused. I now understand more about how research, teamwork, and design all work together. This project taught me not just technical skills, but also how to think clearly, communicate better, and stay calm when things get difficult.
I will take these lessons with me into future work, where I hope to continue improving and creating meaningful, well-planned outcomes.
